Lakers News: LeBron Clutch Again, Lakers Fend Off Rockets for the Win

LeBron James came up clutch in the fourth quarter once again, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a hard-fought victory over the Houston Rockets.
For the fifth time in six games, the Lakers found themselves trailing in the fourth quarter. But just like he has done so many times before, LeBron James took over down the stretch, scoring 12 of his 28 points in the final period.
James also added 9 rebounds and 6 assists, while Anthony Davis chipped in with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Austin Reaves hit a big three-pointer with just over a minute remaining to give the Lakers a 102-99 lead, and the Lakers held on for the win.
The Rockets were led by Jalen Green, who scored 25 points. Kevin Porter Jr. added 22 points, and Alperen Sengun had 19 points and 12 rebounds.
The Lakers improve to 10-10 with the win, while the Rockets fall to 7-12.
