Denver Nuggets Win Big in Game 3

Lakers unable to keep up with Nuggets' high-powered offense

Murray and Jokic lead the way for Denver

The Denver Nuggets took a commanding 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals on Sunday night with a 119-108 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets with 28 points, while Nikola Jokic added 22 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 23 points, while LeBron James added 21 points.

The Nuggets got off to a slow start, trailing by 10 points after the first quarter. However, they turned things around in the second quarter, outscoring the Lakers 33-19 to take a four-point lead into halftime. The Nuggets continued to pour it on in the third quarter, extending their lead to 15 points heading into the fourth quarter.

The Lakers made a run in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to six points with just over two minutes remaining. However, the Nuggets were able to hold on for the win, thanks to some clutch free throw shooting from Murray.

The Nuggets now have a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series when they host the Lakers in Game 4 on Tuesday night. The Lakers, meanwhile, will need to find a way to turn things around if they want to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole.
